Colwood Creek Park hosted the last of 24 Neighbourhood Nights, a free family program in the West Shore offering up games and outdoor activities encouraging families to get outside and get active. West Shore Parks and RecreationB次元官网网址檚 manager of recreation Sandy Clarke said the inaugural offering was a success.

Clarke said between 10 and 30 families participated on any given night at Colwood Creek Park, Glen Lake Park in Langford and at Centennial Park in View Royal.
Despite being funded in part by a one-time Recreation Foundation British Columbia Grant, West Shore Parks and Recreation CEO Linda Barnes said she is hopeful the initiative will be back.
