Beside an extensive midway and carnival games, the 42nd spring fair at the Luxton Fairgrounds in Langford will feature an antique farm equipment display, the heritage museum, demonstrations by the Vancouver Island Blacksmith Association and an assortment of vendor booths.

The fair takes place Friday (May 19) through Monday, with the midway opening up from 3 to 11 p.m. on the first day. Weekend hours are 1 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 1 to 6 p.m. on Monday.
B次元官网网址淭he prices have changed for the ride bracelets, but admission (to the grounds) is still free,B次元官网网址� West noted. Wristbands for unlimited entry onto rides are only valid on the day purchased. They cost $35 for Friday or Monday and $40 for Saturday or Sunday.
The demonstrations and displays run from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday through Monday.
Parking is by donation in the large lot off Luxton Road (at the end of Marwood Road) and is being handled by the Lighthouse Christian Academy as a fundraiser to help offset grad costs.
West pointed out that the fairgrounds are walking distance from a number of homes in the area, so itB次元官网网址檚 a perfect reason to get the family out for a stroll.
