Langford resident to climb CN Tower for a good cause

A Langford resident will be pushing herself to the max phyiscally in support of a good cause next week.

Kim Dunn will be climbing 147 floors or 1,776 steps to the top of the CN Tower in Toronto in support of marine and coastal issues.

BԪַIBԪַm passionate about keeping nature healthy in Canada,BԪַ said Dunn, who works with World Wildlife Fund CanadaBԪַs Victoria office. BԪַHealthy nature means healthy people, and a healthy economy too. WeBԪַre so blessed in Canada to be home to amazing species and ecosystems, and thereBԪַs lots to do to protect them for future generations.BԪַ

Since January, Dunn has been training at Club Phoenix in Langford in preparation for the grueling climb, with training ramping up in the last month. The climb takes place this Saturday, April 7.
