Two events at WittyB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s Lagoon offer a close look at the creatures that inhabit the popular Metchosin beach.

A Capital Regional District Parks naturalist will help you learn while the tide is out about the creatures that make WittyB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s Lagoon Regional Park their home. Bring sandals or beach shoes suited to getting your feet wet for this guided walk for everyone over five years of age. The event takes place tomorrow (Saturday, July 8) from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

CRD naturalists will be joined by special guests in scuba gear for a Marine Day drop-in event for all ages at WittyB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s Lagoon from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 11. Have a look at the creatures the divers bring up, join in a beach seine, guided walks and other activities. Meet at the Tower Point parking lot off Olympic View Drive, and be prepared to get your feet wet.

Please leave your pets at home. For more information, visit crd.bc.ca/parks-events.
