One of the best beach parties of the year returns to Colwood this weekend.
As part of the fourth annual Eats & Beats at the Beach event, residents of all ages can listen to live entertainment, enjoy dishes from local food trucks, and take in the natural beauty of Esquimalt Lagoon.

This yearB次元官网网址檚 event includes performances by Kuba Oms, the New Souls, Dirty Mountain, Jaimey Hamilton, Johnny Gr4ves and SweetLeaf, as well as hot eats from food trucks such as LB次元官网网址橝uthentique Poutine & Burger, Deadbeetz, MollyB次元官网网址檚 Fish and Chips, Ali Baba Pizza, Greek on the Street and Indecent Risotto.
In addition, residents can go for a paddle on a kayak or stand up paddle board with West Coast Outdoor Adventure, take an e-bike for a cruise, try out a climbing wall, and take a stroll through the beach-side street market.
New this year there will be an area where residents can enjoy craft beverages from Phillips Brewery or Merridale Cidery, among others.

Last yearB次元官网网址檚 event drew roughly 5,000 people and the City expects a similar turnout this year as well.

Eats & Beats at the Beach takes place on Saturday, July 7 from 1 to 8 p.m., along Esquimalt Lagoon. The City is encouraging residents to walk or cycle to the event, take transit, or hop on the shuttle, which takes residents from the park and ride at the corner of Island Highway and Ocean Boulevard to the event throughout the day.
Ocean Boulevard will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and parking will be available along the lagoon on either side of the event location.
