DGS Construction to build Royal Bay secondary

DGS Construction and Hughes Condon Marler Architects have been selected to build the new high school.

The proposed Royal Bay secondary school in Colwood is one step closer to being a reality.

DGS Construction and Hughes Condon Marler Architects have been selected to build the new high school. The decision was announced at the Sooke School District Board of Education meeting, June 25.

B次元官网网址淲e are excited that both Royal Bay & the Belmont Replacement School will set the standard for 21st Century Learning facilities,B次元官网网址� says Board Chair, Wendy Hobbs. B次元官网网址淲e are also excited to be leading the way with the first prominent facility in the new development site in Colwood.B次元官网网址�

DGS Contruction has a history building schools including Burnaby Central, J. Lloyd Crowe and Sutherland secondary schools. The architects firm has also worked on several education facilities including the Univeristy of B.C.

Royal Bay secondary school is expected to be open to it's first class of students in September 2015.
