The Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian LegionB次元官网网址檚 Prince Edward Branch #91 (Langford) is hard at working preparing that and more for the first Fashion & Tea event June 18.
Designer Millie Vandale said the all-ages event will show off womenB次元官网网址檚 clothing that is comfortable, stylish and affordable.
B次元官网网址淭he styles are figure-flattering, easy to wear, easy to care for and you can change the look of them easily by accessorizing,B次元官网网址� she said. B次元官网网址淚t fits any age of woman, from teenagers to elderly mature women and everything in between. We have something for everyone.B次元官网网址�
The 20-year fashion designer got involved with the event because she believes in the cause and the work of the Ladies Auxiliary, so much she even became a member. During a stint volunteering as a gift wrapper at the West Shore Town Centre this past Christmas, Vandale was part of a conversation about the potential for a fashion fundraiser, which she agreed to be part of.
The Legion Ladies Auxiliary sponsors many different charitable organizations, including Cockrell House, Ronald McDonald House and more recently supporting those affected by the fires in Fort McMurray. The fashion items comes from Ava Gray in New York. Vandale will not only be showing the fashion, she will be offering insight into the womenB次元官网网址檚 wear.
B次元官网网址�(IB次元官网网址檒l be) commentating on all clothes they are wearing; what they are, size ranges; they will see a fashion show.B次元官网网址� (But) itB次元官网网址檚 not just someone putting something on and walking, (the audience) will know the fabric, the feel and some fashion tips.B次元官网网址�
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and children and can be purchased in advance at the Langford Legion, 761 Station Ave. They include tea, pastries, sandwiches and entry for door prizes. The clothing, which runs from casual to business attire, will be available for purchase after the show.

Fashion & Tea is June 18 with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. with tea served at 2 p.m.
