The City of Colwood is officially opening its pergola area at Herm Williams Park on Kelly Road this Saturday.
The City received the iron John di Castri-designed elements from the Royal B.C. Museum, for which the structures became surplus as the museum underwent a renovation.
SaturdayB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s event, on from 2 to 3 p.m., will feature a story walk that kids can follow through the park, live music from Ken Mason and light refreshments. Coun. Lilja Chong, chair of ColwoodB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s parks committee, will unveil a small commemorative plaque to officially open the pergolas.
