Christmas trees chipped in Colwood

The Colwood Fire Department is offering tree chipping by donation

Looking for an easy way to clean up that Christmas tree in the new year?

The Colwood Fire Department has just the solution for that problem.

Crews will be offering tree chipping on Jan. 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The public is invited to drop off trees at the rear of the station, 3215 Metchosin Rd., with the chipping offered by donation.

All proceeds go to the Colwood FirefightersB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ Historical Society, which operates the museum next to the fire hall.
