A little jingle plus a little mingle added up to more than half a million dollars for cancer research on Vancouver Island.
Generosity was running high at the B.C. Cancer FoundationB次元官网网址檚 swanky Jingle Mingle and new Jingle Soir茅e held at the Fairmont Empress Hotel Dec. 7.
A crowd of 275 Vancouver Islanders gathered at the Empress to enjoy drinks and hors dB次元官网网址檕euvres while bidding on silent and live auction items.
Jingle Mingle guests also raised their paddles high in philanthropic spirit for the eventB次元官网网址檚 first Equip-a-Need B次元官网网址� a way to raise funds for in-demand scientific equipment.
Proceeds from this yearB次元官网网址檚 Equip-a-Need are going toward a state-of-the-art robotic microscope as well as other high priority research equipment at the B.C. Cancer AgencyB次元官网网址檚 Vancouver
Island Centre.
