A new spot unveiled for families

The pergolas at Herm Williams Park on Kelly Road are officially open and ready to be used.

The City of Colwood marked the occasion on Saturday with live music, in hopes of drawing more community membersB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ attention to the architectural marvels donated by the Royal B.C. Museum.

Colwood Coun. Lilja Chong was there representing council and thanked those in attendance for coming by to help share in this community celebration.

She also shared an invite on behalf of the City for all residents to enjoy the space as a special place to get together with friends, share a picnic or just sit quietly and enjoy the park.

However, Saturday wasnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t exactly quiet. Colwood musician Ken Mason was also at the unveiling, providing park users with some lively tunes.
