Fast food giant McDonaldB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s has lost the B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·˜Big MacB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ trademark in the European Union, where regulators have ruled in favour of Ireland-based fast food SupermacB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s.
Arch-rival Burger King couldnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t resist and is using a troll-type ad campaign to take a bite out of McDonaldB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s European marketshare.

European regulators revoked McDonaldB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s registration of the trade mark, saying it hadnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t proven genuine use of it in the five years prior to the case being lodged in 2017.
