Solar ColwoodB次元官网网址檚 grant program has been so successful in homes that the organization is now offering larger grants to help businesses and multi-dwelling buildings convert to solar-powered hot water systems.

The new incentives provide a 20-per-cent discount for privately owned buildings and 25-per-cent off for public, non-profit or strata-owned buildings, up to $25,000 when switching to solar hot water.

Solar Colwood lists buildings such as hotels, condominiums and fitness centres as some of the examples of larger properties that can benefit.

The smaller incentives for residential properties are still available, and cover a third of the cost of switching to solar, up to a maximum of $4,000.
