Keycorp actually reduced the original 500 units zoned to achieve larger lots on the roughly 30-acre property.

McCormick Meadows will offer a small number of townhouses, as well, but the majority of the units will consist of fee simple single family homes that include a range of ranchers and traditional-style single family houses (for example three bedrooms and a den on two levels), with about one third containing legal secondary suites.
Providing a mix of housing options will appeal to a more mixed demographic, including seniors who are downsizing, young families and established households making their first home purchase, making for a much healthier and more vibrant community, Rupf said.

Rupf said they are impressed with the amount of interest that has been shown in the development so far, and chalks that interest up to the uniqueness of McCormick Meadows itself.
