B次元官网网址淥ur entire team has a passion for servicing sites that do not have water and sewer,B次元官网网址 said Seymour, whose son, Cole, joined the team in 2020 as technologist. B次元官网网址淚 never expected my son to come into this field because as a child, he felt I worked too much. He didnB次元官网网址檛 understand the joy and fulfillment I got out of solving impossible engineering problems. Somewhere along the way he changed his mind. Now heB次元官网网址檚 hooked.B次元官网网址
MSR Solutions has employed five different Camosun graduate techs, including Cole, over the years. B次元官网网址淚 am blown away by the quality of their education,B次元官网网址 Seymour said. For more info visit msrsolutions.ca.
VI Spectrum Digital & Photographic Ltd.
SookeB次元官网网址檚 David Bloom has worked in and run photographic studios for a large portion of his life. He lived in New Zealand for 25 years and Australia for 12, then moved to Sooke three years ago. While he is mostly retired, he keeps very busy, he said.
Today, work is less about photography and more about fine art colour printing and signage.
B次元官网网址淲e have all the latest colour printers and can do up to 64 inches wide and pretty much as long as you want, within reason,B次元官网网址 he said. B次元官网网址淓verything I do is custom, nothing is standard. I make sure that every file I print turns out great. My clients want things like signage for their boats or cars, signage for businesses, banners, etc. I can print out photos from an iPhone, too. The largest IB次元官网网址檝e done is three feet by seven feet, and it looked great.B次元官网网址
You can find VI Spectrum Digital and Photographic at 6693 Sooke Rd., next to CathyB次元官网网址檚 Caf茅. Find out more at spectrumdigital.ca
Classic Cedar
Ivan Hoetzel always wanted his own shop. He purchased Classic Cedar in 1988 from a neighbour in Coquitlam. He made furniture and worked in construction for a few years and then moved everything to Metchosin in 1991.
B次元官网网址淲hat I love most about what I do is the commute,B次元官网网址 Hoetzel said with a laugh. B次元官网网址淚 walk across the lawn.B次元官网网址
The other thing he enjoys is his customers. B次元官网网址淧eople come to me and I get to make great products they love. IB次元官网网址檝e had some clients for 30 years and some have become friends. I appreciate the interaction with the customers and making furniture that goes all around the world. I also love working with cedar, as it has vibrant colours and is challenging to work with. Most of the wood I get is from the coast and Vancouver Island.B次元官网网址
Classic Cedar has an outdoor showroom, open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with social distancing being practised. Visit in person at 4559 Morland Rd. or visit them online at classiccedar.com.
